Infographic: Second Uses for Crayons

Make a Giant, Multicolored Crayon

Have a bunch of crayon stubs? Make a big crayon with them! Peel off any labels, then place in a muffin tin or other oven-safe dish and heat at 350 degrees until melted. Let cool.

Make Candles

Follow the same directions as above, but place a wick in the crayons right before they cool!

Fix Scratches and Nicks

Replace scratches in the floor or your car by finding a corresponding crayon color and filling them in! Or, if you have a chip in a vase, melt down part of a crayon to fill in the gap. No one will ever notice!

How to Get Rid of Crayon Marks

If you have crayon marks on walls or elsewhere, use some white, non-gel toothpaste to rub it off. It's in on a material like plastic, you can use WD-40 spray instead.
